A boy and his dog
Olli & Waffle started at a kitchen table in Australia, with two parents who could not find enough children's television that was gentle, funny and not trying to sell something every ninety seconds.
So we made it. The stories come from ordinary days — the beach, the bike, the first day back at school — because those are the days children actually have, and because a small thing that happens to you is more interesting than a big thing that happens to somebody else.

Meet Olli & Waffle
Olli
Seven years old. Chestnut hair that has never once done as it was told, freckles across the nose, and a yellow hoodie he would wear to a wedding.

- waiting, tidying, letting go of an argument

- noticing the thing everyone else walked past
Waffle
A cream-and-apricot goldendoodle with a white blaze down his face and a yellow bandana he is extremely proud of. Age unknown. Enthusiasm: total.

- every bag contains food
- Cannot:
- sit still, has never sat still
- Excellent at:
- moral support and stealing socks
- Ongoing dispute:
- the postman
Their friendship is the whole point
Olli is brave because Waffle is there. Waffle is patient — occasionally, briefly — because Olli asks him to be. Everything else in this business sits on top of that one relationship, and nothing we make is allowed to weaken it.
